A node is any group of people in one place doing this work. It is not a chapter of anything. Nobody charters it, funds it, supervises it, or can shut it down.
Two people meeting at a kitchen table once a month is a node. So is a court-watch group, a reading circle working through the coercive control curriculum, a table at a local event, or one person who prints handouts and keeps them in the car.
There is no minimum size, no required activity, and no reporting. A node that goes quiet for a year has not failed at anything. It is a listing so that people in the same area can find each other. That is the entire function.
You do not need: an entity, a bank account, a website, a logo, insurance, a board, bylaws, a budget, a minimum number of people, or anyone's approval.
You do need: one activity you can actually do, and one way for people to reach you.
Call yourself KTP plus wherever you are. KTP Redlands. KTP Inland Empire. KTP Central Texas. Use a city, a county, a region, a valley — whatever actually describes who you can reach. If two groups pick overlapping areas, that is fine. Nobody owns a territory.
One thing is enough. Watch a courtroom. Read one curriculum together. Hand out printed material at an event. Pick the smallest real activity you can sustain, not the most impressive one you can describe.
KTP plus your area. Be honest about the radius you can actually cover, so nobody drives two hours to find nobody there.
An email address or a page. That is it. You do not need a website, a logo, a bank account, or an entity to begin — and you should not build any of those before you have done the thing once.
